Step‑by‑Step Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine 1/4 cup of orange marmalade, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, and 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Whisk the ingredients together until smooth and well-blended. Fold in 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh basil and a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Take two halibut fillets and place them on a large plate. Coat each fillet with the prepared orange Dijon glaze on both sides. Allow to marinate at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F) and ensure the grates are clean and lightly oiled.
- Place the marinated halibut fillets on the grill grates. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then gently flip and grill for another 4-5 minutes until done.
- Remove the halibut from the grill, brush on any remaining glaze, and serve immediately.

Notes
Fresh halibut ensures the best texture and flavor. Allow marinating for at least 15 minutes for optimal taste.
