Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash 1 large head of broccoli under cool water until clean. Cut the florets from the stalk and peel the stalk.
  2. Core and dice 1-2 apples into small cubes. Finely chop 0.5 medium red onion.
  3. Incorporate 0.5 cup raisins and 0.25 cup sunflower seeds into the broccoli mixture.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together 0.25 cup apple cider vinegar, 0.25 cup olive oil, 1-2 minced garlic cloves, and 2 tablespoons maple syrup.
  5. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving, adding apples just before serving to prevent browning.
