Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients and whisk together until well blended.
  3. Melt the butter, let it cool, then mix into the dry ingredients until coarse crumbs form. Reserve 1 cup for the topping.
  4. Press the remaining crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust.
  5. In a bowl, mix the crushed pineapple filling ingredients until well combined.
  6. Pour the pineapple filling over the crust and evenly spread. Sprinkle the reserved crumb mixture on top.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  8. Allow cooling completely before slicing into squares.
