  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 cup Diced Onion Can be omitted if desired.
  • 1 can Rotel (diced tomatoes with green chilies) Can replace with plain diced tomatoes if preferred.
For the Wrapper
  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry Can substitute with crescent roll dough or pizza dough.
  • 1 cup Mexican Blend Cheese Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese can be used.
For Garnishing
  • Optional Garnishes Lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, green onions, and cilantro.

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. In a skillet, add ground beef, diced onions, and minced garlic. Cook until the beef is browned.
  3. Add chili powder, salt, pepper, cumin, onion powder, dried oregano, and paprika. Stir and add Rotel with water; simmer until thickened.
  4. Unroll puff pastry into a rectangle about 18 inches long. Roll it out if too thick.
  5. Spread the beef mixture over the pastry, leaving a small border. Sprinkle with Mexican blend cheese.
  6. Roll the pastry tightly into a log and seal the edge by pinching it closed.
  7. Slice the rolled pastry into 1-inch thick slices and place on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cheese has melted.
