Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush the pretzels and mix with melted butter and sugar. Press into a greased 9x13-inch baking pan and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over cooled pretzel crust.
- Boil 1 cup of water and dissolve Strawberry Jell-O powder. Add 1/2 cup cold water to cool. Allow to thicken slightly without fully gelling.
- Pour the Jell-O over the cream cheese layer and scatter sliced strawberries on top. Press gently into the Jell-O layer.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results. Cut into squares to serve.
