Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Thinly slice the beef sirloin or flank steak against the grain. Marinate with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon cornstarch, and 1 teaspoon sesame oil in a bowl for 10 minutes.
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and cornstarch in a bowl until smooth. Set the sauce aside.
  3. Heat cooking oil in a skillet over high heat. Add the marinated beef, searing for 2-3 minutes until browned but tender. Remove and rest.
  4. Stir-fry sliced red bell peppers and broccoli florets for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp and bright. Add minced garlic in the last 30 seconds.
  5. Return the seared beef to the skillet with vegetables, and pour in the prepared sauce. Cook while stirring for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
  6. Add cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing gently to coat. Cook for an additional minute until heated through.
  7. Serve in bowls, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
