Preparation Instructions
  1. Start by cooking short-grain sushi rice according to package instructions, usually requiring about 20 minutes. Once done, fluff the rice with a fork and let it cool slightly in a large bowl.
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the spicy tuna, creamy crab, and softened cream cheese. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is well blended and creamy, approximately 2-3 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, spread half of the sushi rice evenly across the bottom. Next, evenly distribute the creamy filling mixture over the rice layer before topping it with the remaining rice, pressing down gently to compact the layers.
  4. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbling.
  5. Remove the sushi bake from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing into squares. Serve warm, accompanied by crispy nori sheets and soy sauce on the side.
