Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Slice the chicken into thinner cutlets and season generously with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken to cook until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes per side.
  3. Lower the heat and add remaining butter. Add sliced onions and sauté until soft and golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping the pan to release browned bits. Simmer for a couple of minutes.
  6. Reduce heat to low and add sour cream into the skillet, stirring until smooth and creamy.
