  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Can replace with avocado oil.
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix Homemade ranch seasoning can also be used.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Fresh minced garlic can be used instead for more pungency.
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper Adjust quantity based on preference.
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese Use mozzarella for a milder flavor or a dairy-free cheese alternative.
  • 1 cup Sour cream Optional; Greek yogurt can be used as a healthier alternative.

  • oven
  • baking sheet
  • mixing bowl
  • parchment paper

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  4. In a large mixing bowl, toss the halved potatoes with olive oil and half of the seasoning mix.
  5. Line your prepared baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the seasoned potato mixture evenly in a single layer.
  6. Distribute the sliced smoked sausage evenly over the potatoes. Sprinkle the remaining seasoning mix on top.
  7. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Once roasting is complete, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and optionally garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with a dollop of sour cream.
