Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash and dry zucchini. Trim the ends and slice into thick half-moons, about ½ inch thick.
  2. Melt butter and sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until fragrant.
  3. Sear zucchini in a single layer without stirring for 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook another 2-3 minutes until golden.
  4. Add minced garlic and soy sauce, stir-fry for about 1 minute. Optionally sprinkle with sugar.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
