Step-by-Step Instructions for French Onion Rice
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In your greased baking dish, pour in 1 cup of long grain rice along with one can of French onion soup and 2 cups of beef broth. Stir the mixture well.
  3. Slice a couple of tablespoons of butter into small cubes and distribute them over the top of the rice mixture.
  4. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and place it into the preheated oven. Bake for 25 minutes.
  5. After 25 minutes, remove the foil and return the dish to the oven for an additional 20-25 minutes.
  6. Once the rice is fully cooked, fluff it with a fork and let it cool slightly before serving.
