Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt a tablespoon of butter. Add in the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Sauté until browned, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle in the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well for about 1-2 minutes.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, cooked white rice, condensed French onion soup, and sour cream. Mix thoroughly for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread the beef and rice mixture evenly into the dish.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly for about 5 minutes. Sprinkle chopped parsley before serving.
