Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by cutting your chicken breasts into even, bite-sized pieces, aiming for no larger than 2 bites each to ensure consistent cooking.
- Take your wooden or metal skewers and carefully thread the chicken pieces onto them, leaving a little space in between each piece.
- In a small saucepan, combine equal parts honey and soy sauce along with apple cider vinegar and minced garlic. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring continuously until it thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium heat (about 375°F or 190°C). Place the skewers on the grill or a baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Cook for around 15 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Brush your grilled or baked chicken skewers generously with the honey garlic sauce, letting the glaze seep into the meat. Allow the skewers to rest for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish your beautifully glazed skewers with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for an added crunch and color. Serve warm with extra honey garlic sauce on the side.
