  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar or Honey Maple syrup can substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes Optional for heat.
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch Arrowroot starch is a suitable alternative.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Vegetable Stir Fry
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add the crimini mushrooms, broccoli, baby corn, red bell pepper, snap peas, zucchini, and carrots. Stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  3. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, and brown sugar or honey. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
  4. Mix cornstarch with cold water until smooth and add to sauce mixture.
  5. Pour sauce over vegetables, toss to coat, and simmer for 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Serve the stir fry hot over rice, quinoa, or noodles, garnished with sliced green onions.
