Cooking Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat for about 5–7 minutes until crispy and golden brown. Remove and set aside, leaving drippings in the skillet.
- Add sliced smoked sausage to the skillet and cook for roughly 5 minutes until browned. Transfer sausage to a plate to keep warm.
- In the drippings, sauté diced onion for 3–4 minutes until soft and translucent. Drizzle olive oil if skillet looks dry.
- Stir in minced garlic and sauté for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add chopped cabbage, season with salt and pepper, pour in chicken broth, cover, and steam for 10–12 minutes.
- After steaming, return cooked bacon and browned sausage, mix gently, and heat for an additional 2–3 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes
For best results, avoid overcooking the cabbage to maintain its texture. You can add leftover vegetables for extra nutrition.
