- Sauté Chicken: In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, cook for 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
- Create the Sauce: Add remaining butter, onion, and garlic to skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until onion is translucent.
- Add Cream and Broth: Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth, add Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water as needed.
- Combine Ingredients: Return chicken and pasta to the skillet, tosse everything together until well-coated. Cook for an additional 2 minutes over low heat.
- Serve: Dish out warm, topping with Parmesan cheese and parsley.
