Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a deep 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Roll out your pie crust until 1/8 inch thick, pressing it into the dish and blind-bake for 7-8 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, heat oil and cook ground beef until browned, then add the Italian sausage until cooked through.
  4. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté until soft, then stir in Italian seasoning and pizza sauce.
  5. Layer half of your pizza sauce, meat mixture, cheeses, and pepperoni in the pre-baked crust. Repeat.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden, covering crust edges with foil if needed.
  7. Allow pie to cool for 10 minutes before slicing into wedges and serve warm.
