Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by baking your chocolate cake according to the package instructions. Once baked, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool completely on a wire rack. After cooling, slice the cake into bite-sized cubes, approximately 1-inch in size.
- In a mixing bowl, add softened cream cheese and beat it with an electric mixer on medium speed until it becomes smooth and creamy. Gradually incorporate powdered sugar and pour in the Baileys Irish cream, mixing until well blended and fluffy.
- Take a separate chilled mixing bowl and pour in the heavy whipping cream. Using an electric mixer, whip the cream on medium to high speed until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cheesecake mixture.
- In a trifle bowl or individual serving cups, begin layering by placing a generous layer of chocolate cake cubes at the bottom. Add a layer of the cheesecake mixture followed by a layer of whipped cream. Repeat until ingredients are used up, finishing with whipped cream on top.
- Once assembled, sprinkle chocolate shavings over the top layer of whipped cream and add fresh berries for garnish. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2-4 hours.
- When ready to serve, scoop out portions into bowls or dessert plates and enjoy your delicious dessert!

Notes
Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for best results. Give the trifle time to chill for flavors to meld.
