Step-by-Step Instructions for Sautéed Broccolini
  1. Begin by heating 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil in a large lidded skillet over medium heat for about 1 minute until it shimmers slightly.
  2. Add 3 minced garlic cloves and a pinch of red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for 30 seconds, stirring often.
  3. Toss in 1 bunch of trimmed broccolini along with 1 teaspoon of sea salt. Stir and cook for approximately 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in 1/4 cup of water, cover with a lid, and reduce heat to low. Steam for about 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, squeeze fresh lemon juice from half a medium lemon over the broccolini, and toss gently.
