Ingredients

  • 2 cups Pasta Use small shapes like shells or rotini.
For the Seafood
  • 1 pound Shrimp Fresh or pre-cooked.
  • 8 ounces Imitation Crab Can substitute with real crab.
For the Veggies
  • 1 cup Celery Diced.
  • 1 cup Red Bell Pepper Diced.
  • 1 medium Red Onion Diced.
For the Dressing
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise Can substitute with Greek yogurt.
  • ½ cup Sour Cream Omit for lighter version.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard Yellow mustard works as a substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed preferred.
  • 2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning Or Cajun seasoning for spice.
  • Salt To taste.
  • Pepper To taste.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes), drain and cool.
  2. Prepare shrimp by boiling until pink (2-3 minutes) or chop pre-cooked shrimp and crab.
  3. Dice celery, red bell pepper, and red onion. Chop parsley for garnishing.
  4. Make dressing by mixing mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Combine cooled pasta, seafood, and vegetables in a largest bowl, add dressing, and toss.
  6. Chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  7. Serve chilled, garnished with parsley and paprika.
