Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the ingredients by grating the garlic and cutting the asparagus. Snap off the woody ends of the asparagus.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil over high heat.
  3. Heat a large skillet over low heat and add the unsalted butter to melt.
  4. Once the butter has melted, add the grated garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Stir in salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and lemon juice into the garlic butter.
  6. Add the asparagus to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  7. Drop the ravioli into the boiling water and cook for about 3 minutes.
  8. Transfer reserved pasta water into the skillet, stir gently to combine.
  9. Mix in the grated Parmesan until melted, then fold in the cooked ravioli.
  10. Finish by sprinkling with black pepper, red pepper flakes, and lemon zest before serving.
