  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Whole Milk Can use cream for a richer loaf
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by dicing your fresh peaches into small pieces, then toss them with lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Let sit for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well combined.
  3. Create a well in the dry mixture, add the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Gently mix until just combined.
  4. Fold in the prepared peach mixture, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
