Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat and add the ground Italian sausage. Cook until browned and no longer pink, about 5–7 minutes.
  2. Lower the heat to medium-low and stir in the minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Pour in the white cooking wine, scraping up any browned bits from the skillet’s bottom. Let simmer for about 3–5 minutes.
  4. Add the canned diced tomatoes along with their juices to the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer, cooking for another 5 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle in the dried basil, salt, and pepper, mixing everything thoroughly.
  6. Add the cooked egg noodles into the skillet, gently folding them into the sauce, and stir for about 2–3 minutes.
  7. Spoon the Italian Drunken Noodles into bowls, then finish with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley.
