Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the defrosted puff pastry on a floured surface until it’s about ⅛ inch thick.
- In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Brush the rolled pastry with the melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over it.
- Cut the pastry into 1-inch strips, twist each strip several times, and lay them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush each twist with an egg wash or non-dairy milk for a vegan option.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, watching for a golden brown color, then allow to cool slightly.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
