- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8-inch square baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and salt. Add cold butter and blend until coarse crumbs form. Press mixture into the bottom of the pan and bake for 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
- Fold in chopped pecans, then pour the filling over the hot crust. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until slightly jiggly in the center.
