- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, sour cream, eggs, and vegetable oil. Blend until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle half over the batter. Optionally add half of the chopped nuts.
- Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon-sugar layer and sprinkle the rest of the mixture on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes, then slice and serve.
