Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by slicing the focaccia bread horizontally to create a top and bottom half. Scoop out some of the interior bread if desired.
  2. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil on the cut sides, and season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Layer slices of fresh mozzarella on the bottom half, followed by prosciutto, well-drained roasted red peppers, and fresh arugula.
  4. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the layers.
  5. Carefully place the top half of the focaccia onto the layers and gently press down.
  6. Cut into portions and serve, or warm in a preheated oven at 350°F for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Alternatively, use a panini press for 3-5 minutes.
