  • 0.5 cups semisweet chocolate chips sprinkle extra on top
  • 1 cup fresh cherries washed, pitted, and quartered

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, melt the butter and cool briefly. Mix in the brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Fold in white chocolate chips, semisweet chocolate chips, and cherries.
  5. Using a cookie scoop, portion dough onto baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 13-15 minutes, until edges are set and centers are slightly soft. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top if desired.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
