  • 1 lb Pizza Dough Store-bought fresh dough
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup Alfredo Sauce Can be homemade for extra touch
For the Toppings
  • 1 lb Italian Sausage Hot or mild, ground turkey optional
  • 1 cup Fennel Sliced; can substitute with bell peppers
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese Consider adding parmesan for bolder taste

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Place a pizza stone inside if available.
  2. Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out your pizza dough to about ¼ inch thick.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté sliced fennel in the drippings over medium heat for 8-10 minutes until caramelized.
  5. Spread a layer of alfredo sauce over the dough, then top with cooked sausage and sautéed fennel.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and transfer to the oven, baking for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
