Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, rolled oats, protein powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. If desired, gently fold in shredded cheese and chopped herbs.
  6. Scoop portions of dough and shape into discs about 1 inch thick, placing them on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and firm to the touch.
  8. Allow biscuits to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
