Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the frozen hashbrowns, eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Stir in any diced cooked ham, sausage, or chopped bell peppers if desired.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, looking for a golden-brown top.
  7. Allow the casserole to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serve warm.
