Step-by-Step Instructions for Harvest M&M Cookies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare baking sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then add vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Portion out 2 oz. of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly.
- Press a handful of Autumn M&M’s into the tops of each cookie dough ball.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are set but centers may appear slightly underbaked.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool on sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
