- In a large skillet, pour in 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil and set it over medium heat. Allow the oil to heat until it shimmers, about 1-2 minutes.
- Once the oil is hot, add 3-4 minced garlic cloves to the skillet and sauté them for about 30 seconds.
- Carefully place the peeled and deveined shrimp in a single layer in the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes without stirring.
- Gently flip the shrimp over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they become opaque and tender.
- Pour in the freshly squeezed juice of one lemon, then season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir well.
- Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the shrimp.
