- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the two ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine melted butter (or oil), brown sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Whisk until creamy.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gently mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
- Tap the loaf pan on the countertop a few times to release air bubbles.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
