For the Dressing
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Acts as the salty base of the dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil Brings a nutty aroma and taste
  • 2 tablespoons Vinegar Balsamic or rice vinegar works well
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar Balances the flavors
  • 2 tablespoons Peanut Butter Optional for creaminess

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a small jar, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, sugar, and optional peanut butter. Shake vigorously for about 30 seconds until smooth.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, layer shredded Napa cabbage and chopped iceberg lettuce.
  3. Drizzle some of the prepared dressing over the greens and toss gently.
  4. Top salad with cooked chicken, mandarin oranges, shredded carrots, and sliced green onions.
  5. Drizzle more dressing on top and reserve some for serving.
  6. Serve on a platter, garnished with optional wonton strips or chow mein noodles.
