Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Drain on paper towels and chop finely. Mix with mozzarella and cream cheese.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, milk, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Mix gently until combined.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Shape meat mixture into a loaf on a baking sheet, creating a channel for the bacon filling.
  4. Stuff the bacon filling into the channel and seal the meat around it. Shape the loaf uniformly.
  5. Whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Brush the glaze over the meatloaf.
  6. Bake the meatloaf in the oven for 45-60 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
