Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Pineapple Rice
  1. In a medium saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Once hot, add minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add 1½ cups of uncooked rice to the pan, stirring to coat each grain. Toast for about 2 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. Stir in diced pineapple, sriracha, coconut aminos, sugar, and salt. Sauté for an additional minute.
  4. Pour in 2 cups of water and bring to a rapid boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and let simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. After 15 minutes, turn off heat and let the rice rest for 5 more minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
