Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  2. Transfer beans to a bowl of ice water to stop cooking for 2-3 minutes before draining.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and add sliced almonds. Toast for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Add finely chopped shallots to the skillet and sauté for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
  5. Incorporate the green beans into the skillet and toss gently for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, then serve warm.
