Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat and add lean ground beef. Break the beef into small pieces while it cooks for 5-7 minutes until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  2. Return the cooked ground beef to the pan and stir in taco seasoning along with water or beef broth. Cook for 1-2 minutes until thickened.
  3. While the beef simmers, cook Mexican rice in a pot or microwave for 3-4 minutes until warm.
  4. To prepare tortillas, microwave them for 30 seconds covered with a damp paper towel until warm and pliable.
  5. Layer the seasoned beef in the center of each tortilla, followed by rice, Fritos, cheese dip, shredded cheese, and sour cream.
  6. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll from the bottom up to enclose the filling tightly.
  7. For extra crispiness, toast the rolled burritos seam-side down in a skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces or toppings.
