- Start by washing your fresh cucumbers thoroughly under cold water. Then, slice them into thin rounds, ideally about ⅛ inch thick, using a sharp knife or mandoline for precision. Lay the sliced cucumbers on a clean kitchen towel or paper towel to absorb excess moisture while you prepare the seasoning.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers with a drizzle of olive oil, ensuring each piece gets a light coating. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper over the cucumbers. Toss the mixture gently until all the slices are evenly coated.
