Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a 4-6 quart crockpot, add three cups of chicken broth, then layer in the frozen cheddar pierogies and sliced kielbasa. Sprinkle one cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  2. Set the crockpot to high and cover it, letting it cook for 3-4 hours or on low for 6 hours.
  3. About 30 minutes before the cooking time is complete, heat 4 ounces of cream cheese and the remaining broth in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  4. Pour the warm cream cheese mixture into the crockpot and gently stir to combine. Layer the remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top and cook on low for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
