  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil for searing
For the Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Dried basil
For Serving
  • 4 cups Cooked white rice as a base
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut boneless, skinless chicken into bite-sized chunks, seasoning generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and sear until golden brown for about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the same skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any remaining bits stuck to the skillet. Simmer for about 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, Italian seasoning, and dried basil. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Mix in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Return seared chicken to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Serve the creamy chicken mixture over cooked white rice and garnish with chopped parsley.
