  • 8 ounces Fettuccine Pasta Cooked al dente
For the Shrimp
  • 1 pound Shrimp (peeled & deveined) Fresh or thawed frozen
For the Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Butter Can be substituted with olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced) Essential for flavor
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For a lighter option, use half-and-half
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated) Freshly grated recommended
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional) For spice
  • 1/4 cup Parsley (for garnish) Fresh

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the fettuccine and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain without rinsing.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of butter and garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds. Gradually add heavy cream, simmer for 2-3 minutes, then stir in Parmesan until smooth.
  4. Combine cooked fettuccine and shrimp with the creamy sauce in the skillet. Toss gently, adding reserved pasta water if sauce is too thick.
  5. Serve in bowls, garnished with parsley and additional Parmesan if desired. Enjoy!
