Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Slice into strips.
  2. In a pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve 1 cup of starchy water, then drain.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes. Add Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika, let bloom for 1 minute. Pour in cream and broth, simmer to thicken for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, then add pasta and chicken, toss to combine. Adjust sauce thickness with reserved pasta water as needed.
  5. Let the pasta rest in the skillet for 1 minute. Garnish with parsley before serving in bowls.
