Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Orzo small pasta
  • 2 cups Broccoli fresh or frozen, chopped
  • 1 medium Onion yellow, sweet, or white, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese freshly grated
  • 1/2 cup Creamy Caesar Dressing homemade or store-bought
  • 1 tablespoon Butter salted or unsalted
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil for sautéing
  • to taste Salt for seasoning
  • to taste Black Pepper for seasoning

Method
 

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add orzo and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Steam the broccoli until just tender, about 4-5 minutes, then set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and sauté until soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Fold in steamed broccoli and drained orzo, mixing gently.
  6. Drizzle dressing over the mixture and season with salt and black pepper. Stir until evenly coated.
  7. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top and mix until melted and well incorporated.
