Preparation Steps
  1. Butter one side of each slice of rye bread with about a tablespoon of butter.

  3. Preheat the skillet over medium heat until a drop of water dances in the pan.
  4. Grill the sandwich in the skillet, buttered side down, for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Flip the sandwich and grill for another 3 to 4 minutes until crispy and cheese is melted.
  6. Let the sandwich rest for about a minute, then slice diagonally to serve.
