Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your ingredients.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Sauté the chopped onion and green bell pepper for about 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in the rice, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes, then remove foil and check that the rice is tender.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and bake uncovered for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
