Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together crumbled blue cheese, heavy cream, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth and well combined. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Quarter the iceberg lettuce into wedges, rinse under cool water, and pat dry. Store in the refrigerator.
  3. Arrange the lettuce wedges on a platter, and sprinkle with grated carrots, sliced red onion, and crispy bacon.
  4. Drizzle the chilled blue cheese dressing over the wedges before serving and finish with extra blue cheese and cracked black pepper.
