  • 1/2 cup melted butter

  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour can substitute with gluten-free blend

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar for swirl topping

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4x8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash three ripe bananas until smooth. Stir in melted butter until well-blended.
  3. Add sugar and a beaten egg to the banana mixture along with vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
  4. Fold in baking soda and pinch of salt, then gently mix in flour until no dry flour remains.
  5. Mix cinnamon and sugar together in a small bowl for the swirl topping.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the loaf pan and smooth it out.
  7. Sprinkle three-quarters of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the first layer of batter.
  8. Pour the remaining batter on top and gently spread it out.
  9. Using a knife, gently swirl through the layers of batter to create a marbled effect.
  10. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top of the batter.
  11. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Remove from oven and cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
