Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Dough
  • 1 cup Butter (Sweet Cream, Salted) at room temperature
  • 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla pure vanilla extract recommended
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour add gradually
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder for leavening
  • 1 cup Mini Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Red and Green M&M Minis
Optional Topping
  • 1/4 cup Additional M&M's for topping

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, dark brown sugar, and granulated sugar for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add large eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract for another 3 minutes.
  4. Gradually mix in baking powder and all-purpose flour until fully combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and red and green M&M Minis.
  6. Scoop dough into small balls (about 0.5 oz each) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, flatten slightly.
  7. Optional: Place additional M&M's on top of each cookie.
  8. Bake for approximately 8 minutes until edges are golden brown; let cool on wire rack.
  9. Allow cookies to cool completely before serving.
